On Saturday, October 22nd, the first White Oak reunion took place. All alumni that graduated from White Oak prior to 2006 were invited to join in a fun-filled day of reminiscing. Students from as far back as 1995 attended. In the afternoon, there was an open house on campus, where alumni could watch the current Wolfpack soccer team take the field. In addition, tours of the campus were given for those who had not seen the most recent developments. In the evening, a dinner was held at Tucker’s Restaurant in Southwick, MA. A crowd of fifty, including alumni, significant others, current and former faculty and staff, gathered to enjoy a night of viewing pictures, perusing yearbooks, and walking down memory lane. For the faculty and staff, it was an amazingly gratifying night to see former students who have become successful, happy adults with careers, families and well-rounded life interests. A fantastic time was had by all! |
